The pricing screen will display up to three "prescription cost" columns. They are:

(1)  the average Usual and Customary Retail Price* from US retail pharmacies for the drug quantity that you enter; and

(2) the discounted US Network Pharmacy Price* for the drug quantity that you enter. (Remember: To obtain the discounted network pharmacy price, you must present your benefit card at the network pharmacy); and

(3) when applicable either:

(a)  the discounted US Network Pharmacy Price allowed for a generic equivalent* by your benefit plan for the quantity that you enter,

         or

(b)  the Canadian pharmacy's price via an Expedite-Rx Technological Interface Program.

* Prices in Columns 1 and 2 and the generic option are "flexible" in that the values shown will vary when you adjust your "quantity" entries.

** The Canadian "suggested quantity" will not be affected by your "quantity" entries. This "suggested quantity" and the accompanying cost shown are fixed on the pricing screen and are for relative cost comparisons only. The suggested quantity is the maximum amount of a medication that is allowable for shipment as determined by the drug manufacturer’s maximum recommended daily dose and the Canadian package size. To show more exact comparisons between this value and the values in columns 1 and 2, you may enter the Canadian "suggested quantity" amount into the screen’s "quantity" box.

(In all cases, the maximum amount of drug that you may receive from the Canadian pharmacy and thus your prescription’s actual cost will be dictated by the daily dose and the quantity of medication that has been prescribed by your US physician.)
